Thank you to our small group of volunteers that gathered along the towpath this past Wednesday.
These mighty, masked and gloved warriors with ages ranging from 10 to…. much older donated a couple of hours of their time to combat some of Steenbok’s enemies namely:
– Malva parviflora (small mallow, cheese weed)
– Trifolium repens (white clover)
Armed with garden trowels and gardening forks, they dug and pulled and twisted their adversaries until they managed to defeat all of them for around 800m along the tow path. The trophy earned that day was two garden refuse bags full.
If you would like to join us on our next battle, leave a message below or send us a private message. We will make sure to include you in our crusade taking place on Wednesday, 22nd of July.
For more information on Malva parviflora and Trifolium repens please visit the flora section of our website.
