November is usually one of the wetter months of the year. The ten year average is 74mm. This November was a story of two parts. In the first part (up to 17th) rainfall was great – 95mm. The second part was precisely zero! So we end the month with a total of 95mm. Although this is not as much as the 123 mm in November of 2018, what is interesting is the combined total rainfall for the months of October and November the totals are similar: 2018 = 157mm and 2019 = 150mm.
The cumulative figure for up to the end of November 2019 remains significantly behind both last year and the ten year average.
