Living on the edge….

Whilst on your daily walk, why not try and spot some of our stunning specimens from the boundary of Steenbok and share them with us?

Autumn being on its way, many specimens are busy getting ready for their winter colours and/or giving us a colourful display.

Spotted this morning:

– the bright orange Leonotis leonurus – Wild dagga, lion’s ear (Eng.); wildedagga (Afr.)

– the smooth purple of Hypoestes aristata – Ribbon bush (Eng.); seeroogblommetjie (Afr.)

– the framing branches of  Brachylaena nerifolia – Cape silver oak (Eng.) which gives this photo a beautiful, silvery look.
