Trees
There are over 100 trees found in the Reserve of which only half have at this stage been photographed and included in this pictorial listing. However 50 of these trees are identified with signs in the tree copses in the Park. The majority are indigenous to the Western Cape. The Creek area is truly representative of Western Cape thicket whilst elsewhere on the northern shores of Leisure Isle a number of Western Cape forest and mountain type trees have been introduced over the years. We wish to thank Chris Gow for his invaluable assistance in identifying the different species that are featured below in alphabetical order.
