Andrachne ovalis

Small to medium size tree with sharp, spine-like shoots. The leaves are ovate to ovate-elliptic, smelling of cyanide when crushed. Bark shows some conspicuous orange colour pigment. The small white flowers are fragrant. The fleshy round fruit is green at first turning orange the black.
