Tetragonia decumbens

This is a sprawling perennial with branches to 1m and glistening leaves that are warty or hairy. It bears yellow flowers 3-4mm in diameter, in branched axillary clusters shorter than the leaves. The fruits is initially green and succulent with four wings, giving rise to the genus name : Tetragonia (meaning four-angled). It is mainly found at the Creek at the springs high-water area.
