
Orphium frutescens
This evergreen perennial shrub has upright growing habits. The leaves are a beautiful green, narrow and long while the stems, being covered in small white hairs, gives it a nice velvety touch. The flowers are carried at the tips of the stems, either solitary or in clusters and are slightly sticky at the touch. The 5 wide open petals show off the bright yellow twisted anthers in the middle making it easy to identify.
