Hibiscus diversifolius

This erect, perennial shrub has brownish-grey and extremely prickly stems and can be found on the sand dunes north west of Kingfisher Creek. The leaves are arranged in a spiral along the stem. They are large and broadly ovate, coarsely toothed and hairy underneath. The flowers are solitary, yellow with a maroon centre.
