Helichrysum cymosum

Straggling thinly woolly groundcover shrub with narrow to elliptical leaves that are sparsely silky above and white-felted beneath. The margins are slightly rolled under. It bears flat-topped flowerheads that resembles masses of small discs.

The name Helichrysum is derived from the Greek helios meaning sun, and chrysos meaning gold, referring to the bright yellow colour of the flower heads.
