Curio repens

This is a succulent spreading shrublet with erect habits. The many branched stems forming dense mats on the ground. The leaves are nearly cylindrical, up to 1cm in diameter and up to 8cm long. They are flatter on their inner surfaces than their rounded back.They are light green, with reddish tips. The flower heads grow solitary on long, erect, fleshy stalks above the leaves.

The plants are found on rocky sandstone slopes growing among fynbos from crevices.
