Centella asiatica
Prostrate creeping, evergreen perennial, spreading with stolons and rooting at nodes. It has kidney-shaped leaves with indented margins, growing in marshy or damp places. In summer, it bears clusters of tiny inconspicuous pinkish-red flowers in groups of three, hidden under its leaves. Gotu Kola prefers to grow in partial shade.
The entire plant is used for medicinal purpose.
