Restio eleocharis
This plant can be found in the sandy, dune areas of Steenbok Nature Reserve.
The dichotomously branches (type of branching in plants that results when the growing point (apical bud) divides into two equal growing points often twisted) are erect, terete and slender.
The flowers are ovate-lanceolate with the outer perianth-segments rigid. The female spikelets are solitary, ovate and erect.
