Searsia lucidaPrev Rhus lucida
This is a bushy shrub or much branched small tree with erect branches. It occurs in a wide range of areas, from the coastal thicket regions to other habitats, and is common along both the west and south coasts. Many examples can be found in both the Park and the Creek. Small creamy-white flowers grow in sparse heads in the angle between the leaf and the stem. Thin fleshy, small, round green berries become shiny brown when mature.
