| As regards progress in the educational arena we have increased the number of plant naming labels, introduced an aquifer garden at the site of the aquifer storyboard and 100 year old hand pump. Schools have been encouraged to use the reserve for educational outings and to date, three of Knysna's schools have participated. We continue to generate educational information for our noticeboards, newsletters, posters and website. |

| The last 12 months have resulted in significant community involvement and recognition. The reserve manager received a Rotary community service award and LIRA hosted an event to rename the “Wandelpad” to “Rogers way”. Our relationships with SANParks, the Knysna Municipality and other relevant organizations remain strong. In July, the Reserve was used for the very successful Rotary children's cycle race. It has been a busy year, a fulfilling year and a year that would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and generosity of our growing supporter base |
